FRENCH DIP CRESCENTS & SIMPLE AU JUS

Dinner, lunch, or a great appetizer for Football season. This French Dip Crescents & Simple Au Jus Recipe is a winner every time!

You have to try this super easy French Dip Crescents! Every recipe I found for the Au Jus was so complicated, and it didn’t need to be.  I have also included a straightforward au jus recipe.

French Dip Crescents & Simple Au Jus

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg crescent rolls 8 count
  • 1 pound deli roast beef thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces Swiss or provolone cheese slices
Au Jus
  • 1 14 oz can beef broth
  • dash of pepper
  • sprinkle of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp corn starch
Instructions
  1. Unroll crescents onto a large cookie sheet.
  2. On each crescent place a slice of roast beef and a piece of cheese.
  3. Roll crescents starting from the wide end and ending at the narrow end.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes, until crescents are a golden color.
  5. Serve with Au Jus and enjoy!
Au jus
  1. Heat all of the ingredients in a small sauce pan over medium high heat whisking well. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Serve with crescents and enjoy.
