AMAZING KETO GARLIC KNOTS

Image
Better than garlic bread, rolls, or breadsticks! These keto garlic knots are the perfect cheesy garlic appetizer for anyone on a low carb or gluten free diet. These garlic knots are so good that it feels like I’m cheating every time I take a bite. I almost can’t believe they’re keto and low carb. They smell and taste amazing straight out of the oven — pillowy soft and cheesy, with strong garlic flavors. They look and taste like the real deal. The parmesan cheese and garlic butter toppings take it to the next level. Serve them as an appetizer for low carb pizza, save them for a snack, or eat them all for dinner. Anything works. Enjoy! This recipe for cheesy keto garlic bread is the Holy Grail for keto bread  – using mozzarella dough. Mozzarella dough garlic bread is the best keto garlic bread recipe I have ever made, and the beauty is that it’s only 1.5g net carbs per slice (makes 10 slices). If you are new here, you may have stumbled upon Fat Head dough recipe. It is som

Keto Cheesecake Cupcakes

Traditionally in my circle of friends if you have a birthday I will make you a dessert of your choosing. This is the first birthday that has come up since I gave up gluten and carbs. Keto Cheesecake Cupcakes. Baking a cheesecake is a very delicate process, but it doesn’t have to be! Making a batch of mini cheesecakes is a lot quicker and a lot simpler! This mini cheesecakes recipe is very keto friendly- the cream cheese is high in fat, while the erythritol and almond meal are low in carbs. You could fool anyone with these keto treats, they taste like the real thing- fluffy and refreshing. They’re super simple to make, but to really appreciate their taste, it’s important to refrigerate them as long as you can. We refrigerated them overnight, but even a few hours will do. They will set very nicely and coaxing them out of the muffin tin won’t be too hard. To help get the mini cheesecakes out of the tins you could also line the tins with cupcake liners before baking. Keto No-Bake Brownie Bites

Image
I’ve decided that no-bake desserts – such as these keto no-bake brownie bites and my peanut butter bites – are going to be my new jam. They are A-Mazing! While I love my baked treats as much as the next girl, when you’re a busy mom no-bake treats are a lifesaver. And I have tons of ideas for different energy bite flavors so just get ready! Not only are these super fast and easy, but they will satisfy the fiercest of chocolate cravings and are perfect for snacks, desserts, lunchboxes, or anytime your kids say they’re hungry – even if they just had a snack and dinner is almost ready. Kids -at least mine anyways- are ALWAYS hungry and these are perfect to keep around the house for them (and mom!) to munch on. Plus, they are full of fat and protein and low in sugar so they will keep your kiddos full for longer, hopefully until dinner 🙂 No bake brownie fudge balls, no bake brownie energy bites or no bake brownie bites- Whatever you call them. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of energ

BACON WRAPPED CHEESE STICKS (KETO, GLUTEN-FREE)

Image
I was craving some low carb mozzarella sticks after my daughter ordered some at a restaurant. But, I decided to try something new with the recipe. Rather than dip the cheese in egg and then a gluten free coating, I just wrapped each in bacon. I used pre-cooked bacon that was baked the day before. I like to bake bacon in the oven in large batches and keep it in the refrigerator for quick snacks and salad topping. It’s also great to use as an ingredient in recipes. Bacon wrapped cheese sticks. You can imagine the rest right? Gooey, stretchy, melted cheese, just covered in bacon! With the Super Bowl coming up, my mind has turned to fun appetizers to make for game day. Of course, one of them has to involve bacon. Over the years, I’ve made bacon wrapped avocado fries, sriracha bacon wrapped onion rings, and bacon wrapped eggplant fries. These smelled so good coming out of the oven. Because the cheese melts, the bacon wrapping will also loosen when these are finished. It’s not q

CAKE MIX LEMON SWEET ROLLS

Image
Good morning! If your week has been anything like mine, your in need of a pick me up and a little sunshine :) Today I have just the thing for you, Lemon Rolls or we could just call them sunshine rolls! A few weeks ago Christy at Made From The Oven posted some easy cinnamon rolls made from a cake mix. She even tried some in chocolate and added sprinkles for a birthday cinnamon roll. I knew I had to try out her recipe, and I'm so glad I did! When I went to pull out a cake mix from my baking cabinet and came across the lemon cake mix I've been avoiding. I never really like lemon desserts but I bought the cake mix telling myself I needed to try to make a summery treat with it. I've never had a lemon roll before...so why not give it a try. The result was shocking. Seriously. Amazing. I was really shocked how much everybody loved these, even though most everybody had claimed to not care for lemon. I started with Christy's orignial recipe then swaped out the cake flav

RECIPES SIMPLE WITH FAMILY: Vegan Magic Bars!

Image
Chances are you’ve probably seen at least one version of this traditional potluck favorite dessert, which goes by many names: Hello Dolly Bars, Coconut Dream Bars, Seven Layer Bars, Magic Cookie Bars, Coconut Magic Squares… Over the years, these bars have been one of the most frequent recipe requests I’ve gotten from readers, and it’s not hard to see why the recipe is so popular! A soft graham cracker crust topped with layers of coconut and chocolate makes the bars truly as magical as their title suggests. And while traditional magic square recipes call for sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and at least a third cup of butter, I’ve cut all of that out in this new healthier and vegan recipe… and absolutely no one I’ve ever served them to has noticed a difference! My family makes these “magic bars” every year during our big holiday-baking party. I’m pretty sure that the recipe came from the wrapper of a sweetened condensed milk can, but over the years we’ve made it our own by elimi

Healthy No Bake Ferrero Rocher Keto Fat Bombs (Paleo & Vegan)

Image
Ketogenic fat bombs are such a blessing for everyone who is living the low carb lifestyle. Yes, the sugar cravings will (almost) disappear once you’re completely fat adapted but were only human and most of us still want something sweet once in a while. I also think it’s not exactly a “sugar craving” you’re having if you’ve been fat adapted long enough – you’re not craving the nasty feeling on your teeth or the sluggishness afterward. You’re simply craving something sweet & tasty. I’m sorry if all my posts either seem to be no bake recipes, sweet recipes, breakfast ideas (which are sweet) or the soap opera called ‘Keeping up with the Liew-dashians.’ Actually, I take that back, minus the last bit. I’m not sorry that my recipes are mostly sweet, breakfast designated or no bake- That’s what the majority of readers seem to enjoy and I enjoy making them. That, my friends, is win-win. After my recent newsletter, I had quite a few readers email saying while they enjoyed the rec
